The courses will be supervised by qualified teachers. Sculpturing and ceramics will last two weeks. Painting and cooking one week. Midweek courses will be possible as well. Our new project about poetry and (cello) music in June for example takes 4 days. The same goes for a paintingcourse in June. Cookingarrangements will be organized at your request. Would you like to participate any shorter, please contact us. In most of the courses it will be possible.
Preferably we’ll work in the open air. In case the weather is not what we expect, we have ample place to work sheltered from rain, sun and even storm. We can work in the shadow of trees and shelters or in our ‘grotta’s, carved out 3000 years ago by the Etruscans. The stove for our cooking courses is installed in just such a cave, the ‘kitchen cave’.
Generally speaking the courses will start Monday morning at nine. The group and the teacher can arrange another starting time. For early birds sometimes there is a possibility for (half) an hour yoga or tai-chi. Until about 13.00 p.m it is working time. Then we have lunch – together or on one’s own, as desired – and we rest till 16.00 p.m. Thereafter the teacher keeps her/himself - generally speaking - at the disposal of the participants till about 18.00 p.m. On Saturdays we work only in the morning. On Sundays no teacher will be available.
Of course it is up to you to decide how to spend your time. In case you want to do something else you are free to do so; please tell the teacher. On saturday the teacher is at your disposal during the morning; on Sunday the teacher is free.
Usually we undertake an excursion, generally speaking on Wednesdays or Fridays in the first week. On Fridays we round the courses off with an exhibition and review of the produced works.
