Musica e poesia with Gé Bartman

29th of June - 3rd of July (with reservation) and 3rd - 9th of October 2010

In this course Gé Bartman makes you inspired by the mysterious interplay of music and poetry. Experiments with these both items will come up smoothly. You will sing in a choir and if possible, play your own instrument. Imagine the sound of this spontaneously created music `al fresco`: the wholle valley will be filled up by it!

We will focus our attention on poetry and how poetry incites composers for example to compose songs. Claudio Monteverdi`s Madrigals will be the startingpoint. Also Johan Sebastian Bach will be in our midst; during the musical evenings with intimate little recitals, we will listen to his Suites for violoncello. If possible, bring your own flute, violin, viola, violoncello, hobo etc. and do not forget your melodious voice!
